Based in Boulder, Colorado, Red Canyon Collective is a collaboration between Mark Jamieson and Alyse Porpora united by a shared vision: to capture beauty in both nature and the human form. Our work is inspired by a deep love for travel, feminism, the American West, and the raw elegance of the natural world. We’re drawn to untamed landscapes, meaningful experiences, and the intersection of humanity and the wild. Through our imagery, we strive to tell visual stories that spark wonder, nostalgia, curiosity, and inspiration.
About Mark Jamieson
Self-taught in both film and digital photography, Jamieson works exclusively with natural light, allowing the environment to dictate the mood, texture, and energy of each image. With a focus on landscape and boudoir photography, Jamieson frequently integrates the female form into outdoor settings, presenting the body not as separate from nature but as an integral part of it. These works celebrate the harmony between beauty in both the human form and the natural world. Through themes of vulnerability, autonomy, liberation, and absolute freedom, Jamieson seeks to capture the delicate interplay between humankind and the wild, inviting viewers to reflect on our connection to nature. Residing in Boulder, Colorado, Jamieson spends much of his free time on the road, living out of his Toyota Land Cruiser and drawing inspiration from the ever-changing landscapes he explores.
About Alyse Porpora
Alyse Porpora is the creative director and designer for Red Canyon Collective. With a background in fine art and management she helps to curate photoshoots and set the scene with dynamic and often unseen connections. Drawing from the intricate relationship between us, the human form, and the natural world, she navigates the space between fluidity and the landscape. With a passion and drive for adventure and experiencing something new while traveling through a world so old, the hope is to create work that feels grounded and expansive -- rooted in exploration, uniqueness and personal self expression.
